Yesterday, May 6, 2021, a crucial meeting took place between representatives of the “BCD” public organization
and Petro Petrovych Perevoznik—head of the Nemishaivska ATC—and Ivan Ivanovych Kogut—deputy head of the ATC for public health—to discuss the development of public healthin the Nemishaivska ATC.
Yuriy Voynalovych,
executive director of the NGO “BCD,” presented an analytical report based on the results of an analysis of the state of the social and medical sector in the Nemishaivska ATC, prepared together with
Kateryna Ryzhkova-Sebeleva,
a mentor from the charitable organization “Light of Hope.” The head of the ATC and his deputy expressed their understanding of the situation and the need for changes in the public health sector. In addition, they expressed their willingness to cooperate with the civil society sector. Following the meeting, support was secured for the development of a Public Health Program that will ensure access for representatives of key and vulnerable population groups to comprehensive preventive services and medical-social services, which will be provided at the Nemishaivska ATC level using local budget funds. It was also agreed to establish a working group based in the Nemishaivska community to develop the Program and to include representatives of the CSO “BCD” in its composition. Ivan Ivanovych Kogut was appointed as the representative from the local government. So stay tuned for our updates—more to come... The event took place as part of

coordinated
by the Center for Democracy and Rule of Law within the framework
of the “Civil Society Sectoral Support Initiative,”
