Today, the public organization “BCD” (hereinafter referred to as BCD) has been relocated to Kyiv due to the war, where it is actively engaged in humanitarian aid, supporting volunteer initiatives, and transporting essential supplies across the city of Kyiv.

However, the search for medicines and support for people living with viral hepatitis and HIV-positive individuals remains highly relevant.

The needs of the community of people diagnosed with chronic viral hepatitis are only increasing under the current circumstances.

“The hepatitis community has been displaced — some people have arrived, others have left. Now we need to conduct a mini-study and update information on what is actually happening,” explains Yurii Voinalovych.

According to him, hepatitis C is treated over the course of three months. Therefore, people may have received treatment for the first month, for example in Borodianka, but what to do next becomes a serious question.
